This basket was woven during the pandemic quarantine of 2020. It represents the life balance that was interrupted by this event. It feels like the basket is going to fall over, but it doesn’t, it persists to stand, as we did through the quarantine period and beyond.
This basket was juried into the exhibit “Fantastic Fibers” at the Yeiser Art Center in Kentucky. It received First Place honors at the “Fiber Arts Fiesta” in New Mexico. It was also shown in Albuquerque Museum’s “ArtsThrive 2023” exhibit and sale.
