This piece is over 40 baskets sealed in a glass tube. Each basket is the same size and shape. It is meant to encourage voting by engaging the wonder that people might feel when they see or interact with it.
The idea was to just do something interesting that might get people to think about voting. In a national call for entry, it was selected for exhibition in a show called “RIGHT TO VOTE!” at Hera Gallery in Rhode Island. It also received a Special Merit award at the “Fiber Arts Fiesta” in New Mexico.
