Reverse twining
Waxed Linen, 4 ply spokes, 2 ply weavers
The “Inspired by Acoma” series started after I viewed a private collection of hundreds of pieces of Acoma pueblo miniature pottery. Black and white with intricate designs is a hallmark of Acoma pottery.
Upon viewing the collection, I was immediately inspired to weave baskets in black and white – and also started to explore just how small I could make baskets.
