Joy’s Rose

I wove this basket for my Aunt Joy. She was kind enough to give me her old car, so I wove her this basket … seems like an even trade?

This the the first basket I’ve created the combines the quilted look of the top of the basket with the more strict structure of the stem.

This basket was selected as “Best in Show” at Northeast Basketmakers Guild Gathering Exhibit in 2022.
