This basket was a commissioned piece for a friend. She wanted to keep a small vial of her husband’s ashes in it, like an urn of sorts. So she asked me to weave the basket using LA Lakers colors – his favorite sports team.
This is the first time I made a lid for a basket. I was very pleased with the techniques I developed, and the resulting lid which fit snugly.
