It was inspired by Dr Seuss drawings and also plays with the balance of an object as it dances with gravity.
“Seussesque” was selected by the National Basketry Organization to feature in their December, 2019 annual appeal letter. It was also juried into the “Members in Print 2” show which appeared in Basketry+ Magazine.
It was also featured in Carol Eckert’s “Contemporary Basketry” blog post “Stripes”.
“Seussesque” was also included in Fiber Art Now Magazine’s show “Yarn, Rope, String 2020”. Over 600 international entries were submitted and 20 selected.
