Wonder Twins

After meeting Flo and Fran and taking a class from them at the National Basketry Organization conference in Kentucky … I had to weave a thank you gift for this dynamic duo.

I wove these as two different baskets at the same time but with opposite weaving – stitch for stitch – row by row.

The colors are opposite as well, but the baskets complement each other perfectly … just like Flo and Fran.

The baskets are now separated, one with each of these wonderful ladies, but if they so choose, they can bring the baskets back together and reunite them when they see each other.
